AssuredSnap™ is a component of the R/Evolution Architecture,
enabling customers to solve many of today's data protection challenges
facing IT departments by building complete solutions for business continuance,
disaster recovery and regulatory compliance. AssuredSnap provides

| AssuredSnap™ delivers |
| Data Protection |
| • |
Protect against accidental or malicious loss or corruption of data |
| Minimized Data Loss |
| • |
By taking more frequent snapshots (i.e., backups) of
data volumes, the amount of data exposed to loss is
reduced (i.e., improved Recover Point Objective (RPO) |
| Improved Data Recovery and Business Continuity |
| • |
Through the rapid restore to any point-in-time snap shot |
| • |
Improved restore time reduces downtime and data unavailability due to system or human errors (i.e., improved Recover Time Objective – RTO) |
| Drastically Reduced Backup Windows |
| Rapid Application Development Support |
| • |
Like backup, a snapshot can be mounted to a different server, allowing application development teams to use production data without effecting production
data or impacting the production application. This supports rapid application development strategies. |
| Regulatory Compliance Support |
| • |
Data protection is mandatory, and snapshot is one of many tools in the arsenal to adequately protect data and recover from data loss or corruption as mandated by an increasing number of government and industry regulations. |
